Yes, I am still here. Various things prevented me from really doing anything for a while, but I think I can say with reasonable certainty that I will be back for an indefinite period. I even enjoyed a small bout of creativity and can boast of two new stories, The Tale of the Crystal Fruit and Oasis. Both of which I'm sure you'll enjoy.

In other creative news, I discovered that RPG Maker VX had come out last month without my knowledge. Disappointed, I began to lament how much better it was than XP and how I could scrounge together $60 to get a legal copy. But then I remembered, "Well, I already own a legal copy of XP, so why let that go to waste?"

The title of the new game isn't set in stone yet. I keep getting to "Tower of...." and stopping. The basic premise involves a town plagued by phantoms and nightmares, and a Vagrant that they contract to help rid them of their terrors. Players will then embark on a journey through the spiritual realm of the tower in order to solve the mystery and bring peace to the townspeople. Of course, it isn't that simple, but I'm not about to spill all the secrets yet. This is going to be an ambitious project, like all of ours are, with graphics hand-made by ~hartandhunter, with battles and scripting by yours truly. Demo versions will be in order at various stages of development, so stay tuned.
